"He wants us either hot or cold" says Ms. Clara brings Liz room temperature coffee, and when she expresses her disgust, Clara tells her thats how God feels about His people being lukewarm. Liz says she goes to church sometimes and that shed consider her prayer life lukewarm. The next morning Clara asks Liz about her church and her prayer life. Then Clara asks to meet Liz the next day for coffee. She says they only had one son and were married for only 14 years before he died. She sees a picture on the wall of Clara and her husband. She gets the details of her beautiful home. Then one lady makes a joke and says "My grandmother used to say, submitting to your husband is just ducking so God can hit your husband." Liz goes to meet Ms. We see her in a meeting room with her co-workers, and they tell her not to back down to Tony and to give her sister the money anyway. On his way out of a meeting, he meets an attractive lady who hands him her phone number. He makes a lot of money and is well respected. We see that Tony is the top salesman at a pharmaceutical company. She tells Danielle she has to drop her off at the community center early the next day to meet with a client and Tony is leaving for a business trip. Tony tells their young daughter, Danielle (Alenna Pitts), that she is too old for a double dutch team. He tells her to put it back, and its his decision to handle their money and she wont be giving her sister any money.

Tony is angry because he just found out that she transferred $5,000 from their savings account and knew it is for her poverty-stricken sister. He comes home and yells at his wife, Elizabeth (Priscilla C. Stallings), the father, is very emotionally cold. This is what her husband did for a living until a heart attack took his life too soon. Clara explains a war room is where an army gathers before a war to plan their strategy. The scene cuts to army soldiers standing in a war room. Clara (Karen Abercrombie) is standing by a grave.

Overall, I highly recommend this movie and give it 4.99 stars out of 5 stars (no movie is perfect!).Ms.

Those issues are matters of conscience based upon my understanding of Scripture and I am not going to mention them here because they are not that significant to me. But I could say that of many movies, Christian and especially, non-Christian. To be fair, there were only one or two lines and/or scenes that I might have gone a different direction than the movie producers did based upon my personal convictions. I won’t spoil any of them here, but you will laugh and cry so bring plenty of tissues. The humorous moments are splendid and often in the movie. None of us deserve grace and God’s forgiveness yet God offers it freely through the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace is accurately portrayed (see the clip above). Those movies emphasize trusting in Christ but not repentance but War Room is faithful. The Gospel is true in this movie and I cannot say that about a lot of movies that pretend we do not have to repent and trust in Christ.

Repentance is clear and it’s not an “easy believe” message or one that ignores sin. War Room emphasizes biblical prayer and is honest and authentic in how an immature believer learns to strategically pray. And we pray for Him to change others and forget to ask Him to change our heart desires. So many times we pray for God to do what we want rather than for His will to be done regardless of what we want. 7:1-3) and then in the lives of others next.
